Cacao Ceremonies and Guidance for Your Personal Practice
"A pure heart, open to the light, will be filled with the elixir of Truth" ~ Rumi
The tradition of drinking ceremonial cacao has its origin in the ancient cultures of the Mayas and Aztecas in Central America. It was related to the force of Ixcacao – the goddess of Fertility and Abundance. She was also known as the “Queen of Love and Pleasure”, connected with the energy of the Heart.
Radha encountered the ceremonial use of chocolate in 2012 while travelling through the Mayan land of nowadays Guatemala. It was love at first sight which developed into a path during the years she spent in Central America, the native land of the Cacao plant. Radha is enthusiastic to offer ceremonies honouring this sacred and magical plant, harvested and packed in the sacred lands in Guatemala by a cacao shaman Keith.
