About The Event

Hridaya Yoga stands for “Yoga of the Heart”. It is a unique yet very traditional approach to hatha yoga, deep and meditative practice, in which the postures are held longer (similar to yin yoga) and the eyes are closed as a training of awareness.

Based on traditional Yoga as taught for thousands of years, the most comprehensive and natural way of immersion into the world of Hridaya, is within the strucure of a course (as also taught in the international schools).

In this 8 weeks course (no class on the 31 October) we will learn the fundamental asanas (postures) and warm-ups, pranayama techniques and basic theory of classical yoga.

Each class will consist of a short presentation (of a posture or a technique) - 15min, 1.5h practice (asana - posture and pranayama - breath control) and 5-10mins Hridaya meditation.

Completing such course will enable you to gain vast knowledge of yoga and will crate the foundations for a home practice.

The foundation course One is suitable for complete beginners as well as for already experienced yoguis, willing to discover a new and authentic style.

EVERYONE WELCOME! It is a style very easy to adapt and there is no need to be flexible or strong - those qualities will be gradually built with practice.

Based on the classes and the handouts everyone will be able to also build heir own self-guided class at home.

Completing the course, if you want to go deeper, every following term there will be a next level in the foundation course, developing into more postures and techniques.

Cost:

$108 for the whole course, prepaid

$18 on a drop-in basis

Discounts are available for students and unwaged - please get in touch to discuss.
