~ HATHA YOGA: Hatha yoga is more than a style of yoga as it is commonly mistaken for. Hatha Yoga is the practice of Asana (yoga posture) to balance and harmonise body, mind and heart. This ancient form of practice is the foundation of all the contemporary styles of yoga. In traditional Hatha Yoga, we approach asana as a practice for all levels of our being - physical, mental, but also the level of presence and peaceful stillness. Thus each posture is a tool for awakening, a pathway of returning Home, to the core of our being, which is bliss. The postures are held longer which brings a perfect balance between Yin and Yang elements, between effort and relaxation, engagement and ease.

~ TANTRA YOGA: In this hatha yoga practice, we also work with the energy system of Yoga and the activation of specific energy centres/ chakras in the body. Each chakra relates to one of the 5 elements, and when all elements are present in harmony, we can experience vibrant health and fullness.

~ YOGA NIDRA: The final relaxation is always guided as a blissful yoga nidra technique of enveloping the whole body in loving awareness.

~ MEDITATION and entering into STILLNESS: The class is guided as a process of unfolding awareness.  According to all original texts on yoga, meditation is the ultimate goal of all the preparatory cleansing, asanas, pranayama and other steps. We practice with our eyes closed and hearts open, becoming the witness of all that arises and cultivating greater self-awareness. This mindful attitude nourished not only our yoga on the mat, but all that we do in day-to-day life as well.

~ ABOUT THE TEACHER: Radha is a devoted Yoga practitioner and has been teaching extensively and internationally since 2014. She is passionate about the ancient holistic wisdom of Yoga in which the practice serves not only the body, but the wellbeing of our entirety - mental, emotional, spiritual and energy level.

~ TESTIMONIALS:

"I have done many yoga classes over the years and wondered what Meditative Hatha was going to be like. But it blew me away! I enjoyed all of it, I really did and I loved how you talked us through each  pose gently and explained what it was working on. I wish Radha lived where I do, I would be at every class. Radha has so much knowledge, it’s mind blowing. She lives and breathes love. And her voice is like an angel." - Tracy

“The class experience was one of gradual but steady settling into peace. It was exactly what I was looking for, even though I wasn’t sure what I was looking for.” - Mark

“Radha has an immense depth of knowledge and a willingness to share this freely. She creates a sacred and safe space for all who participate. She leads yoga classes and meditation sessions quietly and gently, always attentive to everyone’s needs. I cannot recommend her enough as a yoga and meditation teacher to the beginner, the more experienced and for people in all life stages.” - Michele
