This kirtan we will dedicate to Krishna and Radha.

The name "Krishna" originates from the Sanskrit word Kṛṣṇa, which is primarily an adjective meaning "black" or "dark". 

Krishna is one of the most widely revered and most popular of all Indian divinities, worshipped as an  incarnation of god Vishnu and also as a supreme god in his own right related to protection, compassion, tenderness, and love.

Radha, his consort,  is cosidered to be the embodiment of love, tenderness, compassion, and devotion. 

Their love represents the longing and the union of the human soul with the universal soul .
