About The Event
Both the sacred cacao medicine and the practice of Yoga are paths to the heart. Our guest teacher, Radha from Heart Awakening, will bring cacao and yoga together to map a journey into the sweetness and warmth of the awakened heart. This special event falls on the day of a full moon.
CACAO
The tradition of drinking ceremonial cacao has its origin in the ancient cultures of the Mayas and Aztecas in Central America. It was used to evoke Ixcacao – the goddess of Chocolate, Fertility and Abundance. She was also known as the ‘Queen of Love and Pleasure’, connected with the energy of the heart.
We will share a cup of this magical plant – the pure ceremonial grade cacao by cacao shaman Keith Wilson.
