Come as you are!

A sister-science to Yoga, as often referred to,  Ayurveda is the fundamental "science of life", the eternal and traditional wellness system, stemming from the ancient Vedic culture in India more than 5,000 years ago. We can call it the  “Mother of All Healing" as the principles of many of the natural healing systems now familiar in the West have their roots in Ayurveda.

Ayurveda is a holistic science, it deals with every aspect of life, the balance and relationship of the elements within and in our environment in order to restore the healthiest version of body, mind and self.

It is vast and complex, but also commonsense and logical. Often, as we learn Ayurveda, we simply remember the wisdom that lives in our cells.

In this  workshop we will go through learning sessions, discussion and practical exercises.

We will look into the Ayurvedic wisdom of how to cultivate wellness on a daily basis through:

- the concepts of balance and imbalance in Ayurveda

- dinacharya - a daily routine of healthy habits to energise our days

- ratricharya - an evening routine to unwind and promote a good sleep

- ritucharya - seasonal routine and maintaining health at the change of seasons

- the importance of living in alignment with the cycles of nature - circcadian rhythm, moon cycles, etc.

... and more

The practice of the principles of Ayurveda enables one to understand how to create and sustain balance of body, mind and awareness according to one’s own individual make-up or, if in an unhealthy state - how to make lifestyle choices to bring about and maintain such balance.

Facilitator: Radha Iveta is an experienced meditation and yoga teacher (E-CYT500) with eight years of experience offering trainings and retreats internationally and a L1 Ayurveda Therapist under the Ayuskama Ayurveda institute in Dharamshala, India. In her passion for natural health and Ayurveda she has studied with Dr.Arun Sharma, founder of the Ayuskama institute; Tiffany Nicholson-Smith from Rasa Ayurveda, Canada; and the books and transmission of Dr. Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico, USA.
