About The Event

Evolution in theory and practice - bring your yoga to a whole new level or lay solid foundations as a beginner!

An 8 weeks comprehensive immersion into Hridaya hatha yoga suitable for any-body.

Hridaya Yoga stands for “Yoga of the Heart”. It is a unique yet very traditional approach to hatha yoga, a deep and meditative practice, in which the postures are held longer (similar to yin yoga) and the eyes are closed as a way of cultivating awareness and promoting self-enquiry.

Based on traditional Yoga as taught for thousands of years, this yoga course is made comprehensive and engaging equally for complete BEGINNERS as for people with an established practice.

You can either start on a solid foundation or choose to enrich your yoga experience with a new style of practice.

The course will take place every

for 8 weeks over the school term

21 February - 11 April 2019.

We will learn about fundamental asanas (postures) and warm-ups, pranayama techniques and the basic theory of classical yoga.

Each class will consist of a short presentation (of a posture or a technique) - 15min, oven an hour of practice (asana - posture and pranayama - breath control) and yoga nidra style of final relaxation.

Completing such course will enable you to gain vaster knowledge of yoga and will enable you to take your practice home.
