About The Event
Either new to yoga or a certified yoga teacher, you have probably heard of asana, pranayama, and meditation.
But you might not know much about the first two steps of the yogic path - the five yamas and five niyamas. These are the ethical precepts, or core values, of yoga, as well as its starting place. Furthermore, they provide a recipe for living in the world, embodying the peace and ease we cultivate with practice.
Built on interactive methods, discussion and exercises, this workshop aims to create understanding of these ten pillars of wisdom, which can lead the way to true freedom.
We will look through Patanjali's Yoga Sutra, the core text of Yoga, which is not just a boring ancient script, but a collection of universal living principles. We will share, play and discuss in order to see how we can integrate Yoga into our behaviour and become the…
